new toy.. and more to come.. itouch.. maybe another phone.. and more things which i need money.. and ultimately.. i need $25K for studies too.. arghh.. all about money..

and yes.. going taiwan also need money.. =(

hmmmm.. this weekend is like another birthday weekend.. celebrated sharon's and weekiat's at ecp on sat.. blading and movie.. and its like so tiring to blade.. though is like an easy job.. but the aches after that.. lol.. and karaoke just now.. to celebrate sharon's(again) and kelvin's.. and see.. $$ fly away.. and hopefully after one round.. it will fly back in.. hahaha..

i am thinking of hiking.. and water rafting..

booked in last night.. and woke up today like 3.30am? and had chartered bus to send us directly to cityhall.. convenient in a way.. but i prefer to stay at home.. but no choice..

as expected.. the run is full with army guys.. and everytime i ran pass them.. i can hear people gossiping.. as if divers are god.. which are not.. and wearing the singlet is stressful.. cannot throw face.. but seriously.. damn tiring.. and i really need to stop and slow down at times..

the route is the usual route which i had ran before for like 4 or more times? but its just too packed.. no space to run at all during certain bends.. but at least the water point stretched for a pretty long distance.. but abit pointless to where there is so many thirsty people around..

overall.. not a very good run for me.. too tired.. knee also couldnt take it to finish it.. and didnt meet the timing.. and now.. i having 2nd thoughts on full marathon already.. long torturing process..

hmmm.. after the run.. met up with fellow camp mates for photo takings.. before meeting my bro.. wl and kelvin.. chilled and went old airport rd for breakfast.. together with lyn.. and yes.. we need a good meal to award us for the run earlier on.. lol..

not very tiring though.. but more of the pain on the knee.. and aches here and there.. and the stiffness.. i just hope the knee won't worsen like before..

anyway.. met up with some financial guy which he intro-ed me to some flexible savings/protection thingy.. and i already know most prob.. i won't want to take that offer.. but i still stayed on to listen and see what he got to say.. and how he is going to approach me and make the offer and slowly lead me on.. but too bad.. he didnt get what he wants..

but its pretty interesting to see how this kind of sales people approach you.. trying to know you better which i think they are not really totally interested in your life.. but just have to act.. and how to lead you on.. and yes.. the most crucial thing is NOT to ask "do you want it?" but to take out the documents and tell you.. you need to fill in these etc etc.. hmm.. i'm just not that blur kia who haven see the world.. i seen more than he expected.. and he broaden my vision.. lol..

ok.. its going to be a pretty short week.. live range and weapon refresher.. hopefull thats about it.. and some PT session which is unavoidable.. and the weekend will be here again!

army half this coming weekend.. and IPPT next week.. i need to stop taking in unneccesary stuffs.. and work out more..

hmmm.. don't wish to complicate life like before.. simple and straightforward.. and sometimes.. we play hard to get.. but sometimes.. too hard til we cant get..

NATIONAL DAY PARADE 2009! we have made it happen.. (((;'

finally after 4 months of training.. its the very day for us to put up this show for the Singaporeans..

i can still rememeber clearly when we were complaining about ndp trainings and the weekends burnt.. but the trainers say wait the actual day you will feel it is all worth it.. and indeed.. its all worth it..

before the show.. had our usual practice.. and when we were marching out.. i can already see esplande area flooded with people already..

then after changing up and getting ready for uncasing of state colours at the flyer.. it was also packed with people.. and yes.. i am expecting more at the padang later.. and follow then was going in and getting ready outside the floating platform.. and for the one and only time.. we behaved ourself outside.. standing still.. because we need to put up a good show.. which is what we are good at.. putting up a show.. hahaha..

its always the case that when the supporting contingent goes in.. we can hear cheers and applause and screams from the audience inside.. which make us more nervous.. but when we go in.. there isnt tt much cheers.. maybe because we mean more serious business.. i dunno..

no doubt i was nervous but everything is the same.. the command and what to do and etc..

and singing so many times of the national anthem past few weeks.. nothing compared to yesterday.. when i sing my very own country national anthem.. the very touching moment.. and from where i stand.. i can see SM Lee KY diagonal of me.. and he never fail to sing it out.. and to him.. national day means a lot more.. and despite his age.. i still see him taking out the flag and waving together with any other audience.. no doubt his movement is slower.. but when i look at him.. (i have always been noticing him) many thoughts went thru my mind.. because without him.. i won't be there too.. and none of us will be what we are in spore..

and of course.. when the president came.. the cheer he receive is heart-warming.. and he is one friendly chap i felt.. feeling so brotherly..

he was talking to shone.. and for your info.. all these was pre-arranged and he know about shone's backgrd info.. thats why they could talk pretty long.. and this is my 2nd time seeing him infront of me.. and i feel so love.. loved by the nation..

and the most crucial.. and sure on tv thingy.. and the most easy to screw up thing.. which is the march past.. and saluting and marching keeping in file.. and we manage to get it thru.. and done pretty good.. haha.. as far as i can see from the tv.. and taking a closer look.. the contingent infront of me wasnt tt good.. with the spring effect at the end.. if you notice it..

after that was city march.. the first time parade march past brought so close to the public and to the city.. and the crowd was overwhelming.. everywhere was like flooded with people.. thousands of cameras and flashes.. and it totally felt like a superstar.. or a walking vase i can say.. and with so many people.. no room to slack.. but it was great.. the feeling.. representing navy.. marching past and receiving the cheers which is a form of encouragement and motivation.. and usually.. navy had a problem with keeping in steps.. but this time round.. we put up the best show we can.. and we didnt screw it up.. the people in front of us did.. which was pretty embarassing..

and i was home today watching the telecast and i am damn proud of my fellow ndu people man.. the red lions especially.. being the first naval diver to be part of the red lions.. and the jumping from the heli etc..

and singaporean super kiasu.. like me.. and i manage to find the video clips of the whole ndp on youtube already! that is like super fast!

to many of us.. NDP 09 is our one and only experience that we will remember.. being part of the parade.. and now.. everything have come to an end.. a sigh of relief to a lot of us.. and of course.. a bit dowan it to finish.. but guess everyone enjoy it..

and now.. no more "ace of spade" card to hold in camp.. and is also a start of another thing already.. getting ready for taiwan! and army half..

Finally after months of trainings.. and all the saturdays burnt.. we are going to put up this very show.. for the nation's birthday.. come to think of it.. time passes by pretty fast.. and i can still rem the days where we all dunno a thing about these commands and drills.. and not being able to do it together.. but now.. look what we have became..

The days in Nee Soon Camp.. where we were in our long no.4.. and sometimes.. PT top and long pants.. those were the days where our fundamentals are built up.. and the component drills are drilled..

and finally after many many weeks in nee soon.. we progress to the actual ground at the floating platform at marina.. from combine rehearsal shows.. to NE shows.. and preview.. with our parade uniform..

and other than the usual marching you see in tv.. there is also uncasing of colours and state flag at the rear of the flyer..

which is also a tiring thing.. especially after the city march..

we have come so far.. sweat so much.. and i am not the only one going through it.. there is so many other people who had contribute to this.. be it the trainers.. the logistics from airforce etc.. which make us what we are tml.. and to most of us.. it is the only experience we have for ndp.. the unforgetable. and meaningful one..

the naval participation.. mainly from ndu.. the marching one.. total defence display.. and the trainers..

and here we go.. the Navy Guard of Honour you will see tml..

and everyone of us involve in the parade will be going to put up our best show tml for the world to see.. we gonna make it happen.. and touch your heart..

seriously.. i am very excited bout the ndp show.. ((((;'

3.2km city march doesnt seems as hard with people around clapping and cheering around.. and the flashes.. and i am expecting to see the padang flooded with people on the actual day.. and i guess mostly will be of those pple who like this kind of big event and they always go there to have family gathering and picnic.. you know i know..

i really wanna watch the whole ndp show.. cos it really seems interesting from the pictures.. and i wanna watch the fireworks too..

"i have lost what i have failed to cherish months ago.. and i don't wish to look back and regret.. i am the cause for what things are like now i guess.. no one else to blame.. "
